We Plant fruit trees for a better world
Indian Samaritans helps address the issue of malnutrition among children and lactating mothers through its WePlant program. It is estimated that over 45% of children below the age of five and 65% of pregnant and lactating mothers in India are anemic.
WePlant fruit trees in public places so that the poorest of the poor get access to nutritious fruits.
Each tree is planted and nurtured by a volunteer and grown in memory of anyone in the community. The aim is to reduce malnutrition and enhance bio-diversity.
