Early child marriage among girl children

According to the government official reports, only around 10% of children in India get higher education opportunity and 47% of girl children get married before they are 18 years.

Children between the ages of 4 – 14 are given complementary education at the Samaritan Education centers.

Since 2013, the organization has been successfully working with the communities in Janakpuri and Kirby Place in West Delhi, where 190 children get access to quality education.

Indian Samaritans takes an initiative to focus on mobilizing people and create awareness among the community members on the importance of education, so that they will also realize the need of educating their children and will send them to school every day and keep them away from child labour. The community leaders are also invited to support and cooperate in mobilizing more children to enjoy education by enrolling them in our education centers.
